Supporting Future Veterinarians Through Experiential Learning
The SDSU Pre-Veterinary Club is dedicated to helping students prepare for successful careers in veterinary medicine through hands-on learning and direct exposure to professional programs. Our organization provides opportunities for members to explore veterinary career paths, connect with professionals, and gain a deeper understanding of the veterinary school journey.
Funds raised will support educational trips to accredited veterinary schools, including the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. These visits include campus and teaching hospital tours, admissions information sessions, and opportunities to connect with faculty and current veterinary students. These experiences give members valuable insight into program expectations, clinical training, and the veterinary school application process.
