Support the SDSU Exercise Science Club
The SDSU Exercise Science Club brings together students who are passionate about human movement, fitness, and health. While many members are Exercise Science majors, the club provides opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.
Our organization focuses on networking, professional development, career exploration, and community service, all while promoting wellness and physical activity. Members gain hands-on experiences that help prepare them for graduate school, professional careers, and leadership roles in the health and fitness industry.
Each semester, the club organizes trips to explore graduate programs and professional workplaces. Past visits have included tours of programs at USD and Briar Cliff, as well as organizations such as Sanford Power and the Orthopedic Institute. These experiences give students valuable insight into potential career paths and real-world work environments.
In addition, we host meetings featuring panels of industry professionals and upper-class students who provide guidance on academics, internships, and life after graduation. Our mentor–mentee program pairs upper-class students with underclassmen to foster support, connection, and success within the major.
The club also builds community through engaging activities such as group workouts, a faculty-staff picnic, and a pickleball tournament, strengthening relationships while promoting overall wellness.
Funds raised through Go Big, Give Blue will support travel experiences, volunteer initiatives, professional development opportunities, and club activities that require resources. Your support helps students gain hands-on experience, build meaningful connections, and grow as future professionals.
What makes the Exercise Science Club unique is its ability to combine professional development, experiential learning, leadership, service, and community engagement into one student-led organization.
Your gift helps us continue creating impactful opportunities for current and future members.
