Black Student Union (BSU) organizes for the purpose of promoting awareness of social justice issues vis-à-vis the Black community, serving the greater Orlando community and fostering friendship amongst its members. In alignment with the Rollins College mission of educating students for global citizenship and responsible leadership, BSU is grounded in its five pillars: advocacy, service, awareness, friendship, and inclusion.
The fundraising efforts for Student Philanthropy Week will support signature events like Soul Food Sunday, along with other programs that are open to the entire campus community. Your support will also help us strengthen the Black Student Union itself—providing resources that allow us to grow, improve, and continue creating meaningful spaces for connection, culture, and celebration.
