Help RWU Softball make this Giving Day a home run! Your generosity supports our student-athletes and helps provide the resources, equipment, and experiences they need to compete and succeed. Every gift counts, and we have some exciting challenges to make your support go even further!

Help Us Unlock These Challenges!

• Five Gifts of $500: If five donors each make a gift of $500, Coach Maudie will contribute an additional $500 to RWU Softball!
• Alumni Challenge: If 10 alumni make a gift of $100, our coach will contribute an additional $100. Plus, every alum who gives $100 or more will receive an RWU Softball T-shirt!
• Team Challenge: If every member of the RWU Softball team makes a gift of at least $25, Coach Maudie will contribute an additional $25.
• Coach Maudie Donor Challenge: Coach Maudie will match the generosity of our supporters by contributing an additional $1.00 for every individual donor who gives to RWU Softball!
• Alumni Matching Gift Challenge: RWU Softball alum Renee Mathai '84 has generously agreed to match all gifts to RWU Softball dollar for dollar, up to $2,500! Your gift will go twice as far in supporting our student-athletes.

• Game Day Fan Experience: Get a behind-the-scenes look at RWU Softball! The winner will have the opportunity to attend a pregame warm-up, throw out the first pitch, and watch a game from the dugout during the spring season.

Athletics

Make a gift directly to your program of choice. These gifts will be used to fund the highest priority for the team, as identified by the coach and director of athletics. Twenty percent of each gift to a specific team will be designated as general athletics support.

Why does part of your gift to a specific program become general athletics support?

No single team competes in a vacuum. Fields, medical and sports communication staff, graduate assistants, training facilities, and more are shared by teams. Directing 20 percent to general athletics support from each gift made to a specific team allows enhancement of the total student-athlete experience.

Whether used for graduate assistants in sports communications, new fitness and athletic training equipment, or to aid with team travel, general athletics support allows the director of athletics to provide resources where they are needed most and will have the largest impact.
