Softball Giving Challenges

• Alum Renee Mathai '84 will match all gifts up to $2,500
• $100 match from Coach Maudie for the first 5 alumni donors
• T-shirt for any softball alumni with a $100 or more donation
• TEAM RAFFLE - All Donors over $20 are put into the pool. Prizes include: RWU Softball T-shirt, Hawk Softball Cap or Visor, RWU Softball merch (item TBD), or a game day experience, including throwing out the first pitch and watching the game from the Hawks' dugout.

Athletics

Make a gift directly to your program of choice. These gifts will be used to fund the highest priority for the team, as identified by the coach and director of athletics. Twenty percent of each gift to a specific team will be designated as general athletics support.

Why does part of your gift to a specific program become general athletics support?

No single team competes in a vacuum. Fields, medical and sports communication staff, graduate assistants, training facilities, and more are shared by teams. Directing 20 percent to general athletics support from each gift made to a specific team allows enhancement of the total student-athlete experience.

Whether used for graduate assistants in sports communications, new fitness and athletic training equipment, or to aid with team travel, general athletics support allows the director of athletics to provide resources where they are needed most and will have the largest impact.
