Women's Basketball Giving Challenges

• If 30+ people donate $100+, Coach Thompson will jump into the Bay in the middle of January.
• For a $630 donation, Coach Thompson will run a timed mile in front of the whole team.
• If 35+ WBB Alumnae donate, Coach Thompson will buy two rounds of drinks at the Alumni Game party on January 25.
• For a $500 donation, the team will get an unexpected day off from practice.
• For a $1000 donation, you (or a designee) can be a guest coach for a regular season game of your choice.
• ALL donors will be entered into a raffle to win a WBB prize package.

Athletics

Make a gift directly to your program of choice. These gifts will be used to fund the highest priority for the team, as identified by the coach and director of athletics. Twenty percent of each gift to a specific team will be designated as general athletics support.

Why does part of your gift to a specific program become general athletics support?

No single team competes in a vacuum. Fields, medical and sports communication staff, graduate assistants, training facilities, and more are shared by teams. Directing 20 percent to general athletics support from each gift made to a specific team allows enhancement of the total student-athlete experience.

Whether used for graduate assistants in sports communications, new fitness and athletic training equipment, or to aid with team travel, general athletics support allows the director of athletics to provide resources where they are needed most and will have the largest impact.
