The Rockford University women’s flag football program is one of the newest varsity sport offerings within Regent Athletics. Established for the 2025 season, Rockford University was at the forefront of the collegiate women’s flag football movement in the state of Illinois. The Regents played in and won, 32-0, the first ever collegiate women’s flag football game in the state of Illinois. The game was hosted by the Chicago Bears at the historic Walter Payton Center in Halas Hall. Rockford has continued to build upon that momentum with a second-place finish in the inaugural NACC Tournament in 2026. We encourage you to make a donation to support not only the women’s flag football program, but also to enhance the experience of its student-athletes as it continues to grow and expand over the coming years.
