Contributions to the Student Life General Support Fund this year support the Dean’s Fund for Student Life. The Dean's Fund enables Rice Student Life to support all students—undergraduate and graduate—as they navigate new opportunities and unforeseen challenges. Your investment addresses direct student needs aligned with the division’s highest priorities.

New Opportunities:
Your support ensures students can fully engage in transformative academic and co-curricular experiences. Whether invited to participate in a signature program or selected for a nationally recognized competition, financial barriers should never prevent a Rice student from pursuing excellence.

Emergency Support:
The fund also provides the Dean with the flexibility to respond quickly to urgent and unexpected student needs, including housing insecurity or emergency travel related to family circumstances. Timely assistance helps students regain stability and remain focused on their academic goals.
