Rice Catalyst is an undergraduate scientific research journal, and our mission is to provide an avenue for students to showcase their own research, provide commentary on scientific topics, and develop their skills in writing, editing, designing, and communicating complex topics simply. In addition to an annual printed publication, Catalyst also presents work in online blogs and podcasts, and mentors high school students in publishing their own research pieces through our Eureka division.
As a peer-edited and student-designed journal, annual printing costs pose a significant barrier to our mission. It limits how many student works we can accommodate per publication and how widespread our influence is. Your gift would have an immense impact, allowing Catalyst to expand its reach in sharing current scientific research and the remarkable work of our students with Rice and the greater community.
