Gifts to Bridge the Gap, Serving Vulnerable Populations contribute to...
Bridge the Gap is a newly founded club that connects Rice students with professional career development and volunteer opportunities with 5+ Houston shelters, agencies, and nonprofits (i.e. Asians Against Domestic Abuse (AADA), Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP), Advocates for Immigrant Survivors (AIS), Covenant House, etc) to aid in human capital and start initiatives. Your gift helps us to continue initiatives such as English-learning mentorship, Job and Interview Workshops for released men, drives to provide essentials to clients, and transportation costs for off-campus services.
Our mission is to build community between Rice students and off-campus partners. We hope to build awareness for these social justice and social service topics and provide students a means to give back to the community. With your help, we can help Bridge the Gap between communities in the beautiful city of Houston.
