The mission of Best Buddies is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We do this at the college level by matching mutually enriching friendships between young adults with and without IDD and by promoting inclusion throughout the community. We work with the H.E.A.R.T. Program of Houston to connect with adults with IDD, and host inclusive events throughout the year to have some fun and encourage friendships with Rice buddies.
We would really appreciate any help you could provide to help fund these events for our buddies. With greater funding, we would be able to host bigger, more fun events and continue growing this organization. Your gift is sincerely appreciated!
