Kinder Institute: Community Bridges

Community Bridges prepares future civic leaders by pairing Rice students with partners across Greater Houston to design, test, and scale solutions that advance equity. Fellows spend a full year embedded with nonprofit organizations while completing coursework in urban sociology and research methods. They co‑design projects on education, food security, housing, environmental justice, and health, producing analyses and tools that strengthen community capacity and inform policy.

Join our Building Bridges with a targeted gift:
• $5 supports shared program materials
• $50 provides a thank-you gift to a community partner
• $500 underwrites travel stipend to and from research sites
• $5,000 supports a full summer of fieldwork and training
