About

Edward “Eddie” and Margaret “Peg” met her freshman year at Rhode Island Teacher’s College. They were both the youngest in their family and the first to attend college. Between them, they earned 7 degrees and taught Elementary Education and High School. Giving, learning and helping others to understand the power of education, was what they advocated for their entire lives. This Scholarship Fund exists to enrich students, who like them, are committed to building the future, one teacher at a time.

Ed & Peg met at RIC and their love for each other and teaching began. The Endowed Scholarship Fund carries on their legacy and passion for education.
