The Class of 2022, like all classes before us and those to come after, has been supported by the generosity of donors β alumni, parents, friends, even faculty and staff and fellow students open their wallets to enhance our education.
They've donated to things that we've all benefited from like financial aid, campus programming, career services, diversity and inclusion initiatives, RICochet the student emergency fund, and the annual fund β where dollars meet the most pressing, current needs of Rhode Island College and students like us.
Now it's our turn. Let's join together to reach (hopefully surpass!) β 150 donors β before we graduate. Let's leave Rhode Island College better than we found it.

Amazing! There are lots of ways for you to further support this campaign and Rhode Island College students.
- Make a gift of $10.00 and receive a special philanthropy cord to wear at graduation!
- Share what you'll miss most: While making a gift of any size, share what you'll miss most about Rhode Island College! Is it your friends? A professor? A campus hot spot? We'll share these as updates on the campaign so you can look back and reminisce all together!
- Help spread the word about this campaign: Step 1: Sign up to be an advocate. Step 2: While logged into your advocate account, use Facebook, Twitter, Text, and Email buttons to help spread the word. Step 3: Check back to the βadvocatesβ tab to see how many clicks, dollars, and donors youβve generated If you generate 1 gift, you'll get a special @RICalumni social media shout out. If you generate 2 gifts, you'll get a RIC koozie!
Hi seniors -
We're just 4 days from commencement! This is your final call to pick up your philanthropy cord before your graduation on Saturday.
Tomorrow, May 11th, the RIC Foundation will be in the Gaige Hall lobby from 9 am - 1 pm. You can get your cord there -- and don't forget to pick up your gift from the Class of 1972! Come get your gift even if you already have your cord.
See you there!

The Golden Anniversary Class of 1972 (who graduated 50 years before you) celebrates your success and wishes you well on your future endeavors. They have generously provided a gift for all donors to the Senior Class Gift to celebrate your philanthropic spirit.
Come visit the RIC Foundation Table at the Senior Pride event on the quad on Wednesday, May 11th to pick up your gift!

Class of 2022, meet Katie Johnson, aka donor #150! Katie picked up her philanthropy cord (and a bonus goodie bag) at GradFest this afternoon.
The RIC Foundation set a goal of 150 donors when we launched the Senior Class Gift in January. Today you met that goal - and you flew right by it! There have been 187 donations, can you reach 200 before Commencement?
If you were not able to attend GradFest today to pick up your philanthropy cord, keep an eye on your inbox for info on how to pick it up on campus.

You can pick up your philanthropy cord starting NOW at GradFest in the Rec Center. Weβll be here until 6pm!

Class of 2022, you are AMAZING! There are 50 days left to give to the Senior Class Gift β and you have raised more than the class of 2021 and 2020 combined! You are leaving your mark and paving the way for future RIC students.
We can't wait to see you at GradFest on April 13th. If you have earned a philanthropy cord, come find our table to pick it up there. Keep sharing this campaign and encouraging others to give back too. Can you reach your goal of 150 donors before commencement?
