Shinn Study Abroad Fund

The Shinn Study Abroad Fund provides financial support to RIC undergraduate students with planned study abroad outside the United States.

Shinn Scholars have performed on stage in Florence, interned for a magazine in London, shadowed healthcare professionals in Chile and Peru, learned to speak Japanese in Tokyo, and so much more. In its 32-year history, the Shinn Fund has awarded more than 100 scholarships to students to take classes and complete internships in 31 different countries. While studies abroad are currently paused for RIC students, it’s never too early to start planning your educational trip abroad.
