Did you know that we have a resource right on campus that helps students with any obstacles they experience on their academic journey?
At Rhode Island College, the Learning for Life (L4L) Center is an inclusive space where students are welcomed with open arms. Students are paired with peer mentors, called Navigators, who help them identify and problem solve issues related to their academic, social, and personal success. Students receive assistance with everything from addressing barriers to education as well as housing and food insecurities.
The Learning for Life Food Pantry (The Food for Thought Pantry) is a valuable resource on-campus which addresses the issue of food insecurity for Rhode Island College Students. 1 in 4 students utilizes the food pantry.
"I can safely say that without the food pantry I don't think
I would have been able to focus as much in my college career.
