Did you know that we have a resource right on campus that helps students with any obstacles they experience on their academic journey?
At Rhode Island College, the Learning for Life (L4L) Center is an inclusive space where students are welcomed with open arms. Students are paired with peer mentors, called Navigators, who help them identify and problem solve issues related to their academic, social, and personal success. Students receive assistance with everything from addressing barriers to education as well as housing and food insecurities.
Last year alone, 1,147 lbs. of food was distributed from the on-site L4L Food Pantry, and 1,465 students received support at some level. That's 23% of the RIC student population.
"I can safely say that without the food pantry I don't think
I would have been able to focus as much in my college career.
