Al Carbone was a member of the Quinnipiac community for 45 years; graduating from Quinnipiac College in 1972, and in 2015, he retired as Associate Dean of Admissions for Quinnipiac University.
Al’s passion, enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication to Quinnipiac Men’s Hockey served as a source of inspiration for players, coaches, and fans alike. His presence at each game served as a beacon of inspiration, reminding us of the profound impact that one individual can have on a community.
To honor Al's memory and the legacy he leaves behind, Coach Rand and the team are launching a fundraising campaign to honor Al in a tangible and lasting way. We plan to dedicate a locker in the team's locker room to Al, ensuring that his spirit and passion remain an integral part of our college hockey family for generations to come.
We invite you to join us in this heartfelt endeavor by making a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Your generosity will not only honor Al's memory but also serve as a lasting tribute to the profound impact that he had on our college hockey family.
We understand that your commitment to Al’s locker goes above and beyond, which is why we want to offer a special recognition opportunity for those who contribute $5,000+ (or a commitment of $1,000+ for five years) to this fundraising campaign. As a token of gratitude for your extraordinary support, donors at this level will have their names prominently featured on a plaque in Al’s locker —a lasting tribute for your generosity.
In commemorating Al's legacy, let us rally together as a community to support Quinnipiac hockey and ensure that his passion and dedication continue to inspire us for generations to come.
