Two key Belk Chapel programs this semester include the Room in the Inn experience and the summer Border Immersion trip. The Room in the Inn project allows us to host neighbors from Roof Above, providing our guests with food and shelter for the night. This is a service initiative bringing together a range of constituent partners across the campus, putting a human face on the complex issues of homelessness within our wider community.
The Border Immersion trip, May 2023, provides Queens students with enriching opportunities to engage with issues of immigration and human migration on the border between Mexico and the United States and is thus a genuinely transformative experience for Queens students
What a successful #QUnited. In fact, it's our best yet! Thank you for showing up in a big way for Queens so we can provide current and future Royals with transformative experiences.
We are busy tallying offline gifts and confirming our various challenges have been met, but look for more updates from us soon!
