Gifts to Purdue Space Program Liquids: Build-Up and Testing of the Liquid-Propelled Copperhead Rocket contribute to...
Our mission is to raise funds to support the build-up and testing of our Copperhead rocket.
Purdue Space Program - Liquids was established to advance collegiate rocketry here at Purdue. Over our team's history, we have taken several rockets to launch and provided our members with invaluable experiences that they will take with them to industry and beyond. We aim to provide our engineers with an industry-level experience as part of a collegiate team.
This project is important because funds will make it possible for us to complete a significant portion of Copperhead's testing before the semester closes. It takes a great deal of funding to complete our testing cycles, and having access to more money will enable us to push harder and get more testing completed.
We intend to use our received donations to fund the manufacturing of our remaining hardware. Most of the rocket has not been built yet, and we need money to complete Copperhead's manufacturing.
If we do not receive donations, we will not be able to manufacture Copperhead on the timeline we have set and will have to push testing back even further. This will delay Copperhead's development cycle and require us to push back critical benchmark dates.
