Portsmouth Abbey School’s Giving Day is a high-energy, fast-moving, 24-hour period taking place from midnight to midnight on June 16, 2020. It’s a special day for students, alumni, parents, parents of alumni, faculty, staff, and friends from around the world to come together and show that through their support of the Annual Fund, the Abbey can rise to the current challenges and be stronger than ever.
Why should I participate in Giving Day?
Giving Day is an opportunity for the global Abbey community to come together and show their Abbey pride through support of the Annual Fund. It is a unique occasion to make a direct impact on all aspects of the student experience and support young men and women as they grow in knowledge and grace.
As a special opportunity, Annual Fund gifts on Giving Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, DOUBLING the impact of your support!
What are the goals?
Our goal is to receive at least 600 Annual Fund gifts, our highest total in a single day.
How do I make my gift?
On June 16, please make an Annual Fund Giving Day gift using one of the following ways:
1. Click the "Give Now!" button above.
2. Make a gift through our secure Venmo account @PortsmouthAbbey or by searching "Portsmouth Abbey”.
3. Call Stefanie Polgar, Development Office Coordinator, Database Manager, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST at 401.643.1269.
Can I make a gift by mail?
While we encourage giving online or by phone on June 16, Annual Fund gifts by mail intended for Giving Day must be received by June 16 to be included in the day’s totals. Please mail your check, along with a note stating Giving Day, to:

Thank you for your support! You can still participate by encouraging others to join you in giving, particularly through a match or challenge.
