James Harrison Memorial Scholarship

The James S. Harrison Memorial Scholarship honors the longtime Portland Community College history instructor at the Cascade Campus who dedicated his life to sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for people to engage in meaningful dialogue.

One person at a time, your contribution to this memorial fund will:

• Support students in overcoming costs that might be barriers to attending, or thriving at, PCC.
• Encourage learners to explore humanities courses regardless of their chosen degree or certificate at Portland Community College. 
• Create more opportunities for emerging leaders to engage in discussions that foster personal growth, critical thinking skills, and an appreciation for varying viewpoints.
