The Learning Evaluation Access Project (LEAP) provides diagnostic testing for students who are experiencing educational barriers and don’t otherwise have access to an evaluation. When learning differences are identified, students become eligible for critical aids and services.
Accessible Ed. & Disability Resources has tracked measures of success and talked to our students to understand the full impact these evaluations have had. LEAP students have been able to complete their degrees and certificates, as well as gain confidence from learning about themselves and being able to connect with a community of peers. We need your support to keep up this good work and make a lasting impact on students' lives.
This short video gives an overview of LEAP and this quote from recent student helps illustrate the power of this program:
“My LEAP evaluation was very beneficial in terms of how to advocate for myself in the future, and very handy to have for later on in life when I need accommodations in other educational settings. Dyscalculia isn’t a well known learning disability, but thanks to the LEAP evaluation I can bring more awareness to friends and family, advocate for myself better, as well as how to set myself up for success. I am genuinely very grateful for those who helped me obtain the LEAP evaluation.”
