About

The Sustainability Leadership & Basic Needs is working to raise $5,000 for PCC's Food Insecurity Fund. Two out of three Portland Community College students have faced food insecurity. Our program centers students, with initiatives grounded in peer-to-peer support. Throughout the 23/24 school year at the PCC Panther Pantry, students supported students by distributing over 360,000 pounds of food, helping over 10,000 students meet their basic needs.

Our vision is for PCC students to thrive through access to resources and engagement opportunities that support a healthy community in the face of a changing climate. These hardworking students are committed to building bright futures for themselves and their families. PCC graduates go on to make our community healthier and stronger for everyone!

Join us as we work to raise $4,000 for the Food Insecurity Fund on Big Give Day by making a gift now!

Be sure to encourage your friends to do the same by sharing Big Give Day on social media using the hashtag #PCCBigGiveDay
