The Healthcare & Emergency Professions pathway provides opportunities for students to gain certificates, degrees, licensure and/or credentials to further their careers in the healthcare and emergency services fields. Programs include:

  • Dental Assisting (DA)
  • Dental Hygiene (DH)
  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
  • Exercise Science (EXS)
  • Fire Protection Technology (FP)
  • Foods and Nutrition (FN)
  • Health Information Management (HIM)
  • Institute for Health Professionals (IHP)
  • Medical Assisting (MA)
  • Medical Imaging (MI)
  • Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
  • Medical Professions (MP)
  • Nursing (NRS)
  • Ophthalmic Medical Technology (OMT)
  • Physical Education (PE)
  • Rock Creek Farm
  • Veterinary Technology (VT)

Funds raised will reduce financial barriers for students by helping to cover the cost of fees, supplies and program-specific expenses such as protective gear, uniforms or required vaccinations. Donations will support course enhancements to create enrichment opportunities and improve student engagement, well-being, and inclusivity. Funds will support initiatives that improve students' marketability in our community’s workforce. Examples include honoraria for guest presenters, field trips, and specialized equipment and/or software.
