Cascade Festival of African Film Program

This Big Give Day, we hope you will support the Cascade Festival of African Films, a free community event at the Portland Community College Cascade Campus for over 33 years with 5,000 attendees annually.

Through evocative new African films from across the continent and diaspora and vibrant post-film discussions, we increase awareness and understanding of the diversity of African countries and cultures while providing a welcoming space for African immigrants and students in Portland to share their cultures.

Our festival remains free and open to the public as we offer both online and in-person screenings. Keeping films accessible to our community is our primary goal, and your support through Big Give Day helps us to do this.

Join us as we work to raise $3,000 for the Cascade Festival of African Films by giving a gift now! Your donation will help us pay screening fees for films, which directly support African filmmakers!
