About

The Portland Community College HARTS (Humanities and Arts) Fund supports scholarships for students who show promise in the arts and humanities, as well as arts and humanities-related programming and cultural activities that extend the vision of the HARTS Initiative. Humanities and arts are needed to help students understand cultures, navigate differences, succeed in the workplace and make meaning of their lives and the world around them.

The HARTS Fund helps make sure that PCC students have the same kinds of opportunities related to the arts and humanities as their peers at four-year institutions.

Join us as we work to raise $4,000 for the HARTS on Big Give Day by making a gift now! By making a gift this Big Give Day, you will directly shape student experiences at PCC.

Thank you, David Stout and an anonymous donor for matching the first $1,500 in gifts to HARTS!

Be sure to encourage your friends to do the same by sharing Big Give Day on social media using the hashtag #PCCBigGiveDay.

Updates

Dear HARTS Friends:

Thank you so much for your generous support of the HARTS Initiative during the Big Give Day campaign. Your support helps us to continue to offer student scholarships in the humanities and arts and to ensure that all PCC students have rich access to the humanities and arts, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our latest issue of Wellspring: Humanities and Arts was just released this week, and it is filled with student and faculty creative works, event announcements, and news about the Carolyn Moore Writers House. Please take time to enjoy the issue edited by our new student assistant, Cae-Ann Glenn.

As always, we appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you at harts@pcc.edu

Warm Regards,

Andrew Cohen, on behalf of the HARTS Council
