Cascade Festival of African Films

This Big Give Day, we hope you will support the Cascade Festival of African Films, a free community event at the Portland Community College Cascade Campus for over 32 years with 5,000 attendees annually.

Through evocative new African films from across the continent and diaspora and vibrant post-film discussions, we increase awareness and understanding of the diversity of African countries and cultures while providing a welcoming space for African immigrants and students in Portland to share their cultures.

This past year, we went entirely virtual but we look forward to returning to in-person programming this winter while keeping a virtual option available to those not able or comfortable traveling to the theatre.

Join us as we work to raise $3,000 for the Cascade Festival of African Films on Big Give Day by giving a gift now! Your donation will help us pay screening fees for films, which directly support African filmmakers!
