School of Arts and Sciences

The School of Arts and Sciences serves as the foundation of a Point Park education. Every undergraduate student engages in courses in our school in one or more of our four departments. We prepare students for careers that range from Creative Writing to Funeral Services. Many of our graduates stay in the Pittsburgh community, working in fields like Biology, Criminal Justice, Engineering, History, Literature, and Psychology.

This year’s Day of Giving will allow us to update critical equipment in our Biological Sciences lab—helping all students and further supporting our Women in STEM—as well as provide a field experience in Washington, D.C., for students in our Criminal Justice and Intelligence Studies programs.
