As a cornerstone of Point Park University, the Pittsburgh Playhouse is transforming as an epicenter for entertainment and education. Our integration with the University has fostered a distinctive and resilient model, one that nurtures future generations of artists while consistently delivering high-quality productions and programming for the public. In addition to producing for the University’s nationally acclaimed Conservatory of Performing Arts, the Playhouse also functions as a professional production company where we offer family-focused entertainment, original new works, music concerts, professional development festivals, interactive performances, conferences, and events.

• Senior Showcase - Support our graduating seniors as they take their first steps into the professional world. Your contribution supports our Musical Theatre and Acting students’ first professional audition for talent agents in NYC.

• Equipment and Technology - Help us keep the Playhouse at the forefront of innovation and creativity. Your gift allows us to update lighting, sound, film, and digital equipment, preparing our Conservatory students for today’s industry.

• Youth Group Workshops - Inspire the next generation of artists. Your donation funds creative workshops that introduce local youth to theatre, dance, film and technology while fostering confidence, collaboration, and a love for the arts.

• Conservatory Students’ First Paid Contract – Students across disciplines come together to produce & perform in our innovative show ASCEND. Your gift allows us the opportunity to provide our students with their first professional paid contract.
