About

Through the Class Gift Drive challenge students are asked to show their support by making a contributing to the Class of 2025 gift drive efforts. As a member of the Class of 2025 supporting the class gift is an opportunity to leave a legacy through contributions made to scholarships funds that benefit current and future students.

Students of every class year can continue to make an impact and show their support for others and make a difference for future generations of California students.

Students that contribute to the Class Gift Drive efforts are invited to join The 1852 Society. The 1852 Society engages students and alumni at California in several ways. The society takes student philanthropy, such as Class Gift Drive efforts, which has raised more than $170,000 toward student scholarships, and adds a spirit of volunteerism and fun to build a legacy on the California campus.

The 1852 Society was established to encourage and foster the core value of responsibility for students throughout their tenure at California and after graduation.
