Help Pacific Students Affected by Fires in Hawai’i
Our thoughts are with our Pacific University students and their families in Hawai'i, facing the devastating wildfires and heartbreaking loss. Some of these students are confronting unparalleled hardship while preparing for school.
At this time, we know that about 60 undergraduate and graduate students have been affected. Some have lost their homes and others have had to flee for safety. At this critical moment, our students need our support.
One way Pacific is supporting students in need is through the Pacific University Student Emergency Fund. One of our generous donors has offered a dollar-for-dollar match up to $100,000. Every dollar given is doubled and is reflected in our campaign total. When we reach our $200,000 goal, we will have unlocked the whole matching gift amount.
Your contribution today provides vital assistance to students facing unforeseen circumstances. Contributions to the fund help students with critical needs like housing, transportation, technology and more, and give them hope that they can persist in their education.
At Pacific University, our strength lies in the close, nurturing relationships in our community, one that makes student well-being a priority. Your gift sends much-needed financial assistance, but also a message of hope and care to these students and families in need.
