What is the 253 PLU Bound Scholarship?
PLU offers this full-tuition scholarship for students who are eligible for College Bound financial assistance, attend a high school in Washington State, and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
The Impact over 10 Years of the 253 PLU Bound Full-Tuition Scholarship:
- Over 1,000 students have received the 253 Scholarship.
- Almost 50% of 253 Scholarship alumni stayed in Pierce or King County upon graduation.
- The graduation rate for 253 PLU Bound scholars is about 7% higher than the overall PLU graduation rate.
- 75% of 253 PLU Bound scholars have been first-generation college students.
