About

1906 Challenge

The 1906 Challenge is meant to celebrate the entire Pace community and recognize our founding year of 1906. We want to celebrate our history, the growth of our University, and the bright future ahead. The purpose of our Giving Day is to increase philanthropic support among the Pace community and increase alumni participation for this fiscal year. Our goal is to reach $150,000 by the end of the 1906 challenge. This goal will be reached with the help our alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff, and students.

Athletics Goal: $50,000

Our Pace Athletics programs have some wish list items that your donations can help go toward! Our 1906 Wishlist includes fundraising goals such as:

  • New white uniforms for the football team.
  • Competition fee and travel costs for our cheerleading team.
  • Future travel and equipment upgrades for our nationally ranked men's and women's lacrosse teams.
  • A dedicated indoor batting facility for our softball and baseball teams or updated practice equipment like pitching screens.
  • Practice equipment such as a new whiteboard on wheels, new ball carts, radar gun, box stands and blocking tools for our volleyball squad.
  • UDA Summer camp expenses and new uniforms for the Setter dance team.
  • Continued funding for the Joe O'Donnell Endowment for women's soccer.
  • Championship suits, swim technique equipment and over the water diving harness for our swimming and diving teams.
  • Travel to a kick off tournament in South Carolina in 2022 for Pace field hockey.
