Our Lady of Good Counsel High School was founded on September 8, 1958 by the Xaverian Brothers. While Good Counsel's location and size have changed over time, our mission to inspire students to excel, serve, and love continues.
This year, we are celebrating Founders Day with a 58-hour giving challenge starting on September 8, 2025 at 11:00 am. We invite you to celebrate decades of impact with a gift to the Fund for Good Counsel.
We have 58 hours and One Goal: $70,000 for the Fund for the Good Counsel. Together, we can ensure GC can keep educating students using the Xaverian values you were taught during your time here. With your help, we can keep treasured Falcon traditions alive.
Gifts to the Fund for Good Counsel support our school community and strengthen the future of GC, directly helping every student and faculty member with tuition assistance, academic programming, unique art experiences, time in STEM labs, service opportunities, and more!
Consider giving to help establish an Endowment for the Performing Arts in honor of the 10th anniversary of our beautiful Performing Arts Center, which has helped to launch the careers of so many, including Broadway and screen star Phylicia Mpasi ’11.
Honor Good Counsel’s founding with a gift that will help us inspire our students to excel, serve, and love.

Ten years ago, our community came together with a shared dream: to create a space where the arts could thrive, where students could find their voice, discover their confidence, and shine on stage. The Performing Arts Center has since become that place - a home for music, theater, and dance that has nurtured talent, creativity, and joy for an entire decade.
During Founders Day, as we begin to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this extraordinary home, we are launching the Performing Arts Endowment Fund. An endowment is a permanent investment—its earnings will provide reliable, lasting support for student performances year after year.
We invite you to celebrate this anniversary with a gift that looks ahead—a gift that honors the past 10 years and ensures the years that follow will be just as inspiring. Together, we can keep the curtain rising and the spotlight shining on our students.
On this Founders Day, make your gift today to the Performing Arts Endowment Fund, and let’s ensure that the show goes on - for every student, for every audience, for every year.
