About

The Olivet Nazarene University Men’s Basketball program is consistently focused on being #TiGERTOUGH. The Tigers strive every day to glorify God while continuing a rich tradition of excellence that has been taken to new heights in recent years.

The Men’s Basketball program has achieved much, making 24 appearances in the NAIA National Tournament, including six of the last eight postseasons. In addition, they have won 17 CCAC regular season championships, including five of the last eight seasons, and the first CCAC Regular Season 5-Peat in program history.

The Tigers have won 74% of their games (179) over the last eight seasons and, even more impressive, tallied 226 wins in the last decade — the 2nd most of any four-year collegiate men's basketball program in the state of Illinois (46 total teams). In the classroom, our student-athletes have historically posted a cumulative GPA north of 3.40, and our current roster boasts a combined mark of 3.39. Not to mention, the Tigers experienced an amazing year of spiritual growth collectively.

Our program continues to pursue championship-level effort each season. The Tigers have continued to experience success on the court, in the classroom, and in our community. We are very much devoted to giving the best student-athlete experience possible.

When making contributions to the Men’s Basketball team, know that your generous support will be applied towards the most urgent needs of our program. We plan on using the funds for:

Spiritual Life Materials – One of the wonderful things about the experience our student-athletes are offered at ONU is the spiritual life on campus. Within the men’s basketball program we prioritize devotional times with our team. In order to enhance those moments we would like to purchase written and media materials for the Spring semester and beyond.

Travel Expenses – For the entirety of our program’s history the Tigers have enjoyed traveling and experiencing new destinations. Over the years, our team has prioritized playing different and challenging opponents on those trips. Our goal is to give our teams great experiences beyond Bourbonnais. Our program has appreciated recent trips to Hawaii, Arizona, and California; and this past December the Tigers took a fun trip to West Palm Beach, Florida. Looking ahead, there is much anticipation for next season’s (December 2026) trip to sunny California, but it will come with its own expenses. We plan on using funds not only for our trip to California but for more local trips, helping with meals and transportation as well.

Gameday Experiences – Gameday is the focal point of any season, especially for the Tigers. We would like to enhance ours by purchasing giveaways for fans/students, materials to help our fans bring energy, and the addition of a DJ at home games.

McHie Arena Additions – We would love to continue to make McHie Arena a premier facility on gameday. We are planning to purchase new sideline mats with logos and graphics along with chair carts for storage. These improvements will help our facilities team with setup and tear down each week.

Thanks again for your support!
