Ke’Lynn Brummel ’22

“I chose Olivet over other universities because of the community. When I came to visit I saw that people were genuine in their relationships and in their spiritual life and I knew this was where I belonged. As a student, in my classes and day-to-day life, there is a sense that we are really all in this together. As the Executive Officer for Clubs and Organizations with our Associated Student Council, I am able to help create community for other students through our different organizations on campus. I have the privilege of working with so many of our students in their passions, and it’s truly rewarding because I really get to see how their involvement makes Olivet feel more and more like home.


Last summer I interned with a company called Navistar where I ended up finishing as one of their top interns, and I can truly say this is because of the support of my professors and the things that I learned in classes. I have experienced many opportunities in the classroom setting to take concepts and turn them into real, applicable scenarios with professional clients. This experience has truly made a difference.


I’m now working as a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Analyst for Navistar and I know that Olivet has prepared me for this next chapter.”
