The Walker School of Engineering is seeking to acquire a 2KW fiber laser to support the 10–15 senior engineering projects completed each year. This equipment will allow students to cut and form metal parts in-house—reducing production time from days to hours while enhancing precision and efficiency.
Day of Giving provides an opportunity for any size gift to help us move toward fully funding this nearly $20,000 investment, equipping students with hands-on manufacturing experience, exposure to industry-relevant software, and practical skills that are highly sought after in the engineering field.
If you believe in preparing students with real-world tools and experiences that launch their careers, please consider supporting this project with a gift.
1 Day. 1 Mission. $1 Million.
If we don't hit our goal, we will wait until this project is fully funded!
