The ONU Leadership Institute is at a critical moment. Founded on the vision of former President Dr. Harold Reed, the Institute now stands at a crossroads as higher education faces rapid change and increasing complexity. The need to intentionally prepare leaders—now, not later—has never been more urgent. If we fail to act, we risk falling behind in developing leaders at Olivet grounded in clarity, conviction, and purpose.
Day of Giving is our moment to respond. On this one day, gifts of any size will directly advance the growth of the Leadership Institute by funding program expansion, hands‑on experiential learning, an innovation fund for new ideas and partnerships, and—new for 2026—a student scholarship fund to ensure emerging student leaders are not left out due to rising tuition costs. These investments are essential to strengthening leadership pipelines, protecting Olivet’s mission, and equipping our people to lead faithfully in a rapidly changing world.
