Korey Ziemkowski

Hi Friends!

My name is Korey, and I am graduating from Olivet in May, with my bachelor's degree in social work- 2 days before we go to Zambia!

I am beyond excited for this opportunity to learn from our team and the community in Zambia. We will be focusing on creating spaces for fellowship and offering courses for youth, children, and general ministry. Most of all, we will get the chance to fellowship and hear testimonies from others!

I have had the privilege of working as an intern in the Shalom Project office, where we organize around 9 ministry trips around the world each year. I have met some of the most incredible people since coming to Olivet and working in the Spiritual Department. I am truly grateful to the friends, mentors, and professors surrounding our community. Even better, we get to create more relationships- in Zambia!

I am also very excited to apply all the skills I have learned in my Social Work classes, with the children and families of Zambia. If you know me, you know I love kids; so, I am ready to play games, run around, & make crafts with the kids. I am committed to raising funds for this trip and would appreciate any support during my trip- including prayers!
