Hi! I'm Kimber Cobbs, a Junior at Olivet Nazarene University.
I am studying Biology with a focus in Pre-medicine. I currently serve as the Vice President of the Biophilic club and am an active member of the Freshman-Mentoring program. My time here at Olivet has drastically shaped me into a completely new person, and the reason for that is Olivet's emphasis on integrating faith into the pursual of scholarly work. I am blessed to say that I am taking on that very ideal this summer, as I am going to travel to Kudjip, Papua New Guinea.
There, I will be working on a research project that will impact the lives of many women. The research will allow for the diagnosis of HPV to be more affordable for individuals who seek it. This opportunity will not only provide for the community in Kudjip, but allow me to grow in faith, knowledge, and experience working to better God's kingdom. This is an amazing opportunity provided by Olivet, and I look forward to this trip!
