Janet Eriksen

Hi! My name is Janet, and I am a junior at Olivet Nazarene University.

I am a Social Work major with a minor in Child Development. I am blessed to be serving this year as a co-leader for one of the on-campus ministries, Kingdom Builders, where we go into the community and do physical labor for those in need! I love being a student at Olivet and am so thankful for all the people and experiences that are shaping me here.

One of my favorite opportunities that I have had was going on a mission trip to Inez, Kentucky last year with Olivet. I was able to see the Lord working in such beautiful ways during our time there and met so many amazing people at Appalachia Reach Out. The service and love that I saw in the community was life changing. And I'm excited to return to Inez, Kentucky this year to partner with Appalachia Reach Out again and continue to support and learn from the community there!

My team will primarily work in county schools, but will also have the opportunity to participate in ministry/worship at local addiction recovery centers, assist the ARO thrift store, and help with community improvement projects. This is an exciting adventure near and dear to my heart and I will need help raising the funds to embark on it! Thank you for your support and prayers as I commit to raising these funds.
