Hi, my name is Timmy Schultz. I am a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University and I am studying Ministerial Missions with a minor in Spanish! I also currently participating in planting a bilingual, Spanish/English Church as well as preaching to local churches as a Preaching Ambassador!
I am fundraising for the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Honduras in March with the Olivet Ministry, Shalom Project. The trip will be taking place in Santa Barbara, Honduras and we will be supporting the Gardens of Love orphanage by helping run a VBS style camp which will include lots of ministries and classes for the kids while also volunteering for their new sports ministry. Santa Barbara has some beautiful mountains, amazing coffee and rich culture which we will get to explore on our off time! I felt the desire to go on this trip so that I could practice serving those in difficult situations while also hopefully gaining lots of experience and connections for my future as a Missionary!
While I am super excited to go on this mission trip, I will to need to fundraise money to be able to pay for the costs. I will greatly appreciate all support both monetarily and spiritually as I prepare for this trip. I am so excited to see how God will use my team as servants for those around us!
