Hello!
My name is Elita Kennedy, and I am a senior at Olivet Nazarene University studying accounting and corporate finance. I serve as the secretary of Investment club, work two roles in Benner Library as a University Archives assistant and InterLibrary Loan student worker, and am a teacher's assistant for accounting! I also recently ran the 2025 Chicago Marathon with Team World Vision. Although busy, I live my life by Proverbs 14:23, "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk only lives by poverty." God has continued to bless me and my experiences that I am forever grateful for.
This coming spring break, the Shalom Project is organizing a trip to Santa Bárbara, Honduras. I have the AMAZING opportunity to work with Footstep Mission's Garden of Love & Hope organization! The Garden is an economic orphanage where my team and I will be providing love and support to these children through supplementary education, mentorship, meals, clothing, medicine, and more!
