Hello!
My name is Grace Strickland, and I am a freshman at Olivet. I am majoring in Pastoral Ministry, and I am excited to follow God’s call on my life. So far this year I have been involved in Preaching Ambassadors and Aspire Mentoring which challenge me and get me out of my comfort zone in order to grow in the Lord. I am so thankful for these opportunities provided by Olivet, and I believe the next place God is calling me to serve is Ecuador!
This coming spring break I will be serving with my team in Ecuador being the hands and feet of Jesus. While I am there, I will be involved in a variety of activities including building classrooms and kitchens, leading children’s and youth activities, and providing health initiatives that strengthen relationships with families. I believe this trip will truly equip me for ministry and draw me closer to God.
