Isabella Ghidina

Hi!

My name is Isabella Ghidina, and I am a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University. I am studying Biochemistry with a pre-med track, and I am currently involved in the ACS chemistry club, Clay to Crowns, and Prayer Warriors. Every year Olivet and the Shalom Project host various ministry trips during spring and summer break. I have been granted the wonderful opportunity to travel to Santiago, Dominican Republic (DR) to support and learn from the community there!

The Dominican Republic is a Spanish-speaking country found in the Caribbean, splitting an island with Haiti filled with a vibrant culture and stunning beaches. The team and I will be helping assist Go Ministries' mobile clinic in the DR for people who do not have access to immediate healthcare with all efforts striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I look forward to talking with local people there, practicing both medical and Spanish-speaking skills there. I truly believe that God has put me on this ministry trip for a reason, and I cannot wait to see happens!
