As you prepare to graduate, following in the steps of the 179 OWU classes ahead of you, we hope you take a few moments to recognize the passion and dedication that has led you to this milestone in your academic career - your senior year. The Senior Class Gift is a symbolic step in the transition from student into OWU alumni and continues a long-standing alumni tradition.
Your gift:
- Directly increases the value of your degree through the U.S. News & World Report
- Allows you to give back to OWU in a way that is important and meaningful to YOU! You can direct your gift to your favorite department, program, or other area supported by Annual Giving.
- Helps cement your legacy in the Class of 2024, as all participating seniors will be recognized in the donor section of the Commencement program
Help boost OWU’s rankings in U.S. News and World Report. The percentage of alumni who give back to their alma mater (not the amount of the gift!) positively impacts a school’s ranking. This affects the value of your degree as you’re searching for a job and pursuing higher education. We invested four years of our time, dedication, and money into OWU--now it’s time to make it count!

Tuition only covers 47% of the actual cost of an OWU education, so gifts from alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students, are essential to cover the gap.
