Please join Columbus Alumni Network and Ebony Bobcat Network Columbus together with community members, Urban Strategies, Inc., and partners, to plant peace, love, and joy throughout the Legacy Pointe at Poindexter property on and around Mt. Vernon Avenue and Champion Avenue in Columbus.
Up to 20 volunteers will plant flowers, clean up litter, and help launch a Bobcat Reading Corner in the community space. The focus of the day is to add vibrant color to the grounds and provide accessible books for the youth and families in the community. Volunteers can bring their own working gloves and be dressed in your Ohio University gear to get dirty!
Homage is kindly donating T-shirts to our volunteers. Please specify your T-shirt size during the registration process. You must register by April 21 and attend the event to receive a T-shirt.
If you cannot join us on April 27 and would like to contribute to the Bobcat Reading Corner, you can visit the Amazon Wishlist to donate books for the space.
Details on parking and meeting location will be emailed to registered volunteers closer to the event.
