NDP Announces Our Future In Focus: Vision 2020

This campaign will focus on strengthening all facets of the NDP community to ensure that our students are prepared to compete and thrive for life beyond graduation. To do this, we must commit significant resources to advance our educational mission which will give students the opportunity to focus on exploring passions and interests to their fullest potential while expanding experiential learning opportunities.

Priority #1: St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Center

In the coming weeks, NDP will begin construction on St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Center which will provide a flexible blackbox theater and much needed classroom space. We have received final approval from the Diocese of Phoenix and are in the final permitting stages with the City of Scottsdale.

This 20,000 square foot facility will have a tremendous impact on the entire NDP student experience and will provide our community with the following opportunities:

Academic space to support theater, instrumental, choral and digital video programs
Expansion of the performing arts curriculum in include theater tech and stage design
Gathering space for large community events, including Mass, Christian service activities, lectures and meetings.

This is Phase I of a multi-phase campus build-out. Our fundraising goal is $6.8 million. Thanks to a group of generous families, to date we have received $4.75 million in commitments.

Future Priorities...beyond Phase I

Once all funds are secured for Phase I, we anticipate moving quickly to address other campus needs, including the completion of the Stadium Complex, STEM classrooms, and the construction of "Saints Hall" to accommodate in-door dining and large gatherings, among other priorities.
