This spring, our Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team will take part in a special overnight experience that combines competition, culture, and connection — an opportunity to represent our school with pride while exploring some of the nation’s most historic landmarks.
The trip begins bright and early as the team boards a coach bus for Washington, D.C. After arriving in the capital, the players will enjoy a morning stroll through the stunning grounds of the National Cathedral, taking in the beauty and history that set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.
The highlight of the day: a 1:00 p.m. matchup against National Cathedral Prep, offering our athletes a chance to compete at a high level while bonding as a team. After the game, the girls will have time to explore the National Mall, visiting monuments and museums before checking into their hotel.
The evening brings everyone together for a team dinner in Georgetown, where laughter, storytelling, and shared goals will strengthen the bonds that carry this team through every season.
The following morning, the group will visit Arlington National Cemetery, a meaningful moment of reflection and gratitude before heading home in the early afternoon.
Trips like this do more than create memories — they help our student-athletes grow as leaders, teammates, and representatives of our school’s values.
